Mikage is a currently unreleased Nintendo 3DS emulator created by Tony Wasserka, aka neobrain, released on July 1, 2019. neobrain is a prominent emulator developer who has contributed to projects like Dolphin, PPSSPP, and Citra. Along with Panda3DS, it is the only 3DS emulator in active development.
The emulator was created from scratch after neobrain saw an opportunity for a better-than-average quality 3DS emulator on Android. The emulator is currently closed source although the developer has stated his interest in opening much of the source at some point.
The emulator was announced and released on July 1, 2019, but has been in development since 2016. Currently, a large chunk of games are booting and running. Some of them are: Animal Crossing: New Leaf, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Rayman Origins, and more.
